Short answers

Getting charts in

Use Add Songs in the library (Files, Dropbox, Google Drive, a web link, the File Sharing folder, or a camera scan), AirDrop a .cho, .chopro, .onsong, .txt or PDF onto the device, or copy files into the Stagehand folder in the Files app. The full steps are in Importing.

Key, capo and transpose

Target key is the sounding key. Capo only changes the shapes you finger. They are stored separately and combined when the chart is drawn. See Key, capo and transpose.

External display

Connect a display or projector, then use the projector control in the toolbar. The iPad stays the performer’s copy. The external screen shows the slide. See Projector.

Web console

The optional web console is for a computer on the same Wi-Fi. It stays off until you start it. You will need the PIN shown in the app. See Web console.

A backup

A Stagehand backup uses the .shand type. Restore it from Utilities so you can see what it will replace before anything is written. See Backup and restore.
