What you can do
Each card opens the matching how-to. The guide follows the order you will use on a gig: get a chart on screen, set the key, then walk the set.
Open a librarySongs, a new chart, or an import. The app opens on the last song you read.
Read on stageThe menubar, pinch zoom, auto-hide, and previous and next in the current list.
Key and capoSounding G with capo 3 still fingers E. The file is not rewritten.
How chords are drawnNotation, accidentals, transposing instruments, and where the chord sits.
Format the pageType, colour, columns and margins. A change starts on this song.
LibrariesKeep a church book and a covers book apart. Search ignores chord brackets.
Indexes and setsJump by key, topic or artist, or walk a set with its own key and capo.
Bring charts inFiles, AirDrop, folders, and a review before anything is replaced.
Edit the chartThe raw file, with a live preview, and metadata written back in the file’s own style.
ChordPro, text and PDFWhat the file stores, and what stays a reader preference.
Project the lyricThe iPad keeps the chart. The room sees slides. Connecting a display does not start the show.
Share a songThe same chart on other devices nearby. Off until you start it. A song is not copied unless someone saves it.
Pads and tracksA backing pad in the key you are singing, with Play, Pause and Stop, and a practice track on one song. You supply the files.
Web consoleManage charts, the audio library and pads from a computer on the same Wi-Fi. Off until you start it.
Back upA .shand file. Restore shows what it will replace before it writes.
What stays on the device
Charts, sets, keys, capo, formatting preferences, and any audio you import are files and an index on the iPhone or iPad. Deleting the app deletes them unless you exported a backup first. There is no Stagehand account and no analytics.
